10,000 miles across Canada in a Land Rover Defender will teach you pretty quickly what works… and what doesn’t.
In this episode, we go through a few things that have worked well for us and a few things that we’d actually change after living with the Defender on the road. From the mods that proved essential in the Rockies, to the ones that looked good on paper but didn’t quite hold up to real overlanding life. Cold mornings, long highway stretches, off-grid camps, and rough tracks have all shaped how we now see the build.
Some upgrades surprised us, some we’d never do again, and a few things we’re already planning to rework before the next big leg of the journey.
If you’re building or planning a Defender camper, this is everything we wish we knew before setting off.
Subscribe for more from the road as we continue converting and travelling in our Defender “Moose” across Canada.
